Raptor's correctional services teach to implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to protect the public and maintain a secure, safe and orderly living and working environment for inmates and staff.
Officers will be well-trained, highly professional individuals, led by Captains and Lieutenants who monitor operations, train and counsel staff.
Subjects taught include self-defense techniques, institutional policies and facility operations.
Prisoner accountability is maintained through a system of accurate counts and census checks.
Raptor's lessons encompass the basics of crowd control and civil disturbances. Content covered includes use of riot equipment; tactics, techniques and procedures; close-quarter combat, riot survival; introduction to less-lethal force within a crowd; less-lethal munitions; integration of firearms; counter assault tactics, tangle team and mass arrest tactics, mounted law enforcement; artificial lighting; Molotov cocktail (petrol bomb) awareness; crowd behavior management and guidelines for civil disorder units.
A plan of action must be in place and applied to resolve any emergency incident at a correctional facility. Raptor's Correctional Services experts will prepare administrators to develop, plan and apply safety strategies to protect the well-being of staff and inmates alike.
